OUR CADDO HOUSES

 We have just completed our unit on Native American tribes that settled in Texas!! One group in particular the Caddo Indians built strong houses made of wood and grass. Here is our artist interpretation!! GREAT JOB BEING CREATIVE STUDENTS!!

OUR WRITING PROCESS

We are learning about Story elements and my class is using what they have learned to write their own Fairy Tales! They used a graphic organizer to plan their introduction, rising action, conflict, climax, falling action, and resolution! Here are some pictures of our rough draft process.

FAIRY TALES

 

ONCE UPON A TIME in a land far away (HSD), fourth graders are working hard writing thier own fairy tales to display!!!

They are learning all about story structure from beginning, middle, and end.  They understand that fairy tales are full of make believe, enchantment, and pretend.

They are eager to share their complete works with Kindergarten. So many talented writers in our Appleseedz garden!!
